The Johnson County Conservation District owns and rents five pieces of equipment, available to all Johnson Countians and contractors. The Finn Mulch Straw Blower helps to restore disturbed land and development areas. The Promark Chipper is used to reduce organic yard waste that might be illegally dumped on roadsides.  The No-Till Renovator & Great Plains Drill helps farmers reseed pasture land without the loss of valuable topsoil.  The Great Plains Drill was purchased through grant money from the Agriculture Development Board. The district also provides a Herd Seeder, an ATV attachment used for wildlife plots. Filter Fabric is also provided to Johnson County citizens at cost to be used for conservation purposes.  All Johnson Countians are encouraged to call and reserve the equipment at any time.
