          Blue-winged  Golden-winged Hybrid Warbler Fledgling
                        Possible 1st Generation Brewster's male
              

                  This fledgling, and the one on the following pages, were being fed by an adult male Blue-winged Warbler. They were feeding in thick
                  vines (Virgin Bower - Clematis Virginiana). The parent bird would feed in the trees, then drop into the vines to feed the young.
                  I took these photos over a period of about 45 minutes, while standing very still. At times the birds were within two or three feet
                  of me. Sometimes they were so close the camera wouldn't focus.
